I’m still in shock over the amount of attention that the Craigslist post has received. Amazing. What’s been even more amazing is the number of positive, encouraging messages I’ve received from all over the country. The Struggle Bus–the van that, prior to its cleaning, was referred to as a “rolling dumpster”–has a fan club. That gives me much joy. Thank you, internet world. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, or if you’d like to read some Struggle Bus-related news, I’ve added some links at the bottom of this post.
A number of wonderful people (perhaps even a few of you who are reading this) have sent messages encouraging me to write more. While I don’t really view myself as much of an author, I’ve decided that writing a humor book could be a fun and challenging adventure. I love fun and challenges and adventure. So, I’ve decided to write a book based on the Craigslist post. (Yes, I am fully aware of the utter ridiculousness of the words “book based on the Craigslist post.”) The book will be about the van. It will be about our family. It will be about our life. It will be about uh-ohs and oopsies and chicken nuggets and exotic, off-road adventures.
If you’re interested in that sort of thing, sign up below and I’ll notify you when the book is ready. I hope that it blesses you with a good laugh or two or three. Also, if you know of anyone who would like to be notified when the book is ready, feel free to share this post. Thanks for reading and God bless!
